BiographyHunt received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in fine arts at the University of Iowa before moving to Topeka in 1950. He was a professor in the Washburn University art department from 1950 to 1986 and the director of the Mulvane Art Museum from 1964 to 1986. Hunt worked in a variety of media, including painting, printmaking, and collage. He was awarded the Kansas Governor’s Artist Award in 1982.Person TypeIndividual
