Biography• Kren has spent most of her life in the Midwest. She began teaching art at Kansas State University in 1971, retiring in 2003. She was the first woman in the department to be promoted to full professor, in 1995.• Kren has visited Greece, Spain, India, and China, creating bodies of work inspired by her experiences in these countries.
