Yoonmi Nam
Yoonmi Nam is a professor in the Department of Visual Art at the University of Kansas, specializing in printmaking. She was born in Seoul, South Korea, and studied in Korea, Canada, the United States, and Japan. Nam earned a master of fine arts degree from the Rhode Island School of Design and a bachelor’s degree from Hongik University in Seoul. Nam studied traditional woodblock printing in Japan in 2004, 2012, and 2019 and won the Keiko Kadota Award for Advancement of Mokuhanga. She has exhibited in more than twenty solo exhibitions nationally and internationally.
