• In her mixed-media sculptures, Rose incorporates a variety of materials, especially porcelain, wood and metal.

• Many of the artist’s materials come from salvage yards in New Orleans, where she lives and works. Essayist Celeste Berteau describes: “The [artist’s] 1700 square-foot studio is articulately organized to accommodate each step of a sculpture’s creation, as well as to store in plain sight the hundreds, if not thousands, of found objects and pieces and parts the artist has collected over nearly twenty years.”

• Rose received her bachelor and master degrees in art education from the University of Central Florida.

• The artist has shown her work at the Plaza Art Fair in Kansas City, Missouri, for many years.
