BiographySchmidt is a professor emeritus of drawing and printmaking at K-State. She earned numerous teaching awards during her tenure at the university, and her work has been exhibited widely. In 2011 Schmidt was chosen as the Friends of the Beach Museum of Art Gift Print Artist.
