Flying Man—1982

The artist’s fascination with flying machines began as a child watching films based on World War II air battles. This led to an interest in the designs of flying machines and time, space, and the environment. This print recalls the work of Renaissance artist Leonardo da Vinci, who made many designs for flying machines.
