Katie Baldwin
Katie Baldwin is Associate Professor at the University of Alabama Huntsville, where she teaches book arts and printmaking. She earned a master of fine arts degree from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and an undergraduate degree from Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington. Baldwin first learned Japanese woodblock printing (mokuhanga) during an artist residency in Japan in 2004; she continued to study the method there in 2017 and 2019. In addition to wood+paper+box, Baldwin co-founded the Shift-Lab Collective for book arts in 2013 and the international print collective Mokuhanga Sisters in 2020.
