Schnepf received his master’s degree in fine arts from K-State in 1981, studying under Chuck Stroh and James Munce and living on Thurston Street. His home is a common subject in his prints, including possibly this one.

He was a professor and later, chair, of the art department at the University of New Hampshire from 1981-2015.
