Cruisin' for a Bruisin'

I recently cracked out my dusty twenty-five year old camera and headed toward the rodeo arena.  As I was snapping photographs, I started remembering how I used to crave getting on broncs and bulls as a rodeo rider.  After twenty years of competition and punishing my body, I retired.

I continued on a thirty-year career as an art professor and abstract artist at Kansas State University, I retired.

This action photograph is my Swan Song faculty exhibition piece before being put out to pasture.
