Not on viewCurry completed a mural for the Wisconsin State Fair Park in West Allis just days before he died. Representatives of Wisconsin agriculture, including a farmer strip plowing a field, dominate this study for the final painting. The smoldering ruins of Germany appear at right. Wisconsin had strong cultural ties to Germany through its immigrant population. After World War II, many church groups sent dollars and manpower to help rebuild Germany.
