On View
Not on viewFinding a way to make a living is one aim of attending college. Some graduates are fortunate enough to land jobs doing what they love. Others, like artist Larry Stark, have to experience several types of occupations before finding professional fulfillment. Stark graduated with a mathematics degree and started as an accountant before becoming an artist. In this print, he appears to recognize that being an accountant was not a bad thing. Art is a business, he indicates, with an image that shows an artist-patron contract. Stark has written the buyers’ name on the print.
