Not on viewDuring World War II, under the patronage of pharmaceutical company Abbott Laboratories, John Steuart Curry spent time at Camp Barkeley, an Army training facility near Abilene, Texas. He created a series of images of medical exercises at the fort that the Chicago drug company reproduced in its magazine and sent on tour.
