Description
Logan was a prolific printmaker with a passion for the history of printmaking. His miniature wooden printing press, on which he published miniature books, appears in a nearby case. Logan created numerous portraits of historical printmakers and presses. The Weaver depicts a woman working on a traditional loom, probably a Diné (Navajo) artist. An impression of this print was displayed at the National Academy of Design in New York.
