Poached eggs on toast, with notations. Los Angeles, 1965.
Ball point pen.
Magazine clipping 6 cm. x 8 cm.
Advertisements are calculatedly body-referential, and I
collect the most obvious or appealing examples of
'object pornography'. The viewpoint in advertisements
makes a building or a landscape out of any small object.
'Colossal monuments' create themselves, and I just
have to complete them, site them. This is a proposal for
a styrofoam or plaster, or a relief print in plexiglas.
